Coburn was a witness on a land deed by Isaac Eason in October, 1785. He was also appointed administrator of the estate
of Isaac Eason Jr. on 16 July 1787. In 1800 census he has five female under 10; one male 10/16 and he and wife were
between 26 and 45 years of age. Also owned 8 slaves.
The inventory of the estate of Coburn Eason was taken by John Eason 25 November 1803. John Eason made an account
of the sale March 13, 1804. Elizabeth Eason was the principal buyer and John Eason, Stephen Eason, Joshua Eason,
Isaac Eason, Isaac Eason Sr. and Abner Eason bought. The estate of Coburn Eason, decd., due a sizable amount from
the estate of John Eason, decd. August 1806. Widow Elizabeth has married Enos Norville. Division of negros was made
10 March 1808 by five heirs; Benjamin Moore in right of Patsy; Bennett B. Eason; Polly Eason; Millicent Eason and Joshua
Eason. In November 1808 a large amount was received from the estate of John Eason, decd.. The final settlement of the
estate was made 3 October 1816.
